To end this week's emphasis on faith, I'd like to share the following quotes:
"Faith is to believe what you do not see; the reward of this faith is to see what you believe." St. Augustine
"Faith is not something to grasp, it is a state to grow into." Mahatama Gandhi
"Take the first step in faith. You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step." Martin Luther King Jr.
"Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." Bible
Which of these is your favorite quote? Or, add your own!
Here's one of my favorite quotes on faith:
"Faith never knows where it is being led, but it loves and knows the One who is leading." - Oswald Chambers

I love the quote from the Bible. We have "blind faith" in Jesus because we cannot see Him - however, the Bible and all the ways He shows Himself to us is very real. Thanks for your blog, Henriet. Love, Sharon

In our age, faith is easily ridiculed or despised. But a life based on faith in Jesus as the Messiah is one that has purpose and strength and will be rewarded. That kind of faith is in your inner being and can't be taken away.
