Have you had the experience of having a new passion or interest? Were you just so proud or excited that you wanted to share it with everyone? Did you want your friends and family to see your "new baby" - whether it was a toy, car, an infant or a pet?
You know that feeling: You're excited but also a little scared. Of course you hope, and pray, that everyone will think "your baby" is as interesting and exciting as you do...but they may not. Well, launching the Semper Vita website on July 1 felt a bit like that.
You Amazed Us!
We invited you to come see what we're excited about and you've been absolutely amazing. Hundreds of you visited our new web site! Thank you. Actually the day we launched we had over 500 page views. That's so great. Many of you looked at several pages and sent us emails. We received congratulations and well wishes. We know you care!
You're supporting our dream to exist in community. One of our core values is to connect people. One friend, Alex, jumped in and started a Facebook community called "Friends of Semper Vita." You might have received an invite if you're on Facebook. Anyone can join the group. All you need is a Facebook account. As of this writing we have 36 members (in just two days). We also have 20 people who signed up to receive emails and feeds about Semper Vita updates.
